Compare the quote with your original requirement: material, grade, form, dimensions, quantity, units and revision. Resolve differences before acceptance.
Check the proposed product and manufacturer, any specification exceptions and which documents are confirmed available. A request for a document is not confirmation that it can be supplied.
Review freight, processing charges, taxes or exclusions, minimum quantities, confirmed availability or lead time, delivery arrangements, quote validity, payment terms and any applicable warranty terms. Clarify items that remain unconfirmed before accepting the quotation.
Technical equivalency and commercial commitments require human review. A sourcing estimate or assistant response is not a binding customer quote.
